Storing treatment

Factor concentrates should be stored in a fridge, usually at a temperature of between 2ºC and 8 ºC. They should not be frozen as this could damage the vials or syringes containing the liquids. Some products can be kept out of the fridge for travel (see section on travel on this website), but it is good practice to put them in a cool bag to prevent the product becoming too warm.

It is important to check individual products for specific storage instructions as products do differ.
