Keeping factor cool while travelling

Infusion kits and factor concentrates should always be carried as hand luggage on planes and kept as cool as possible. Factor (in its original pack) should be in a clear plastic bag inside a cool bag together with the prescription relating to it and the doctor’s letter explaining why it is needed. It may be possible to use a fridge on the plane, although many airlines do not allow this.
